2011 Schedule Mount Desert Isle | July 29-31 | Mount Desert Island High School in Bar Harbor My 2011 schedule is decidedly light, as I have decided to take this year to accomplish a few items outside of work. My studio will be closed April 1 - May 31. I will be accessible via email, however, this will be sporadic due to a lack of internet connections in the areas I will be travelling. Please have patience if you need to contact me. I will respond but it will not be in a prompt manner. I will be returning to Cambodia for my third time to work with students from The Cambodian Arts and Scholarship Foundation – CASF (cambodianscholarship.org). This is a Maine-based non- profit that works in 5 provinces in Cambodia, ensuring that poor, at-risk girls are given the opportunity to attend school. We are a 100% volunteer, non-religious based NGO and currently have 150 students, 36 of whom are in university. In order to facilitate sales for those who have seen my work, or who are interested in mokume gane, I will be posting a price list to make purchases easier. In my mind, a shopping cart on my website would not work as there are many combinations of materials that should be considered when purchasing. Because of this, I rely on communication through email or by phone. I encourage anyone who has seen my work at a gallery to please either buy from them, or to please indicate to me that this is what has brought you to my website. They are gracious enough to support me; I feel it is important to make sure they are compensated for that. Please note that 10% of purchases from my site will be given to CASF.
